Draw me close to You(x2)

I’m back with a refreshed and renewed heart. A touch from God is really wht i’ve been asking for this few days and prayerfully, i experienced God today a lot. I experienced His love and concern for me, my aunt(regina), my family, my friends and my relationships. Was supposed to have dinner with michelle but because of some last minute arrangements that Regina is going to her customer(Yuen)’s church(FCBC), I decided to tag along hoping to see her experience God and maybe, slide back to God once again. So, i went with her and Yuen to their mini miracle service where about 20plus females were there. They were very welcoming and we did some ice breakers which was really fun and interesting! I was the YOUNGEST there excluding the 2 little boys which are below 7yrs old! Thank God i fitted in well(maybe cause i dressed quite maturely). Haha! There were 6 testimonies shared in all and through all the testimonies shared, it reflected God’s faithfulness in our lives and His miracle making powers. Whenever we desire for a miracle to happen, we need to be DESPERATE. God looks at the heart. We can’t keep asking God for a miracle when we oursleves are not desperate and not having a strong desire for God to perform that miracle. Another thing is that when we want a miracle to happen, we should not keep looking at the miracle thinking when will God answer them but we should look to THE MIRACLE MAKER which is God. Focus on God, rmbr that He is able and He will be faithful and will create that miracle. Yeah. (:

We were asked to write down what are the miracles that we want to see fulfilled in our life, on 2 pieces on paper. One for us to keep the other to be put into the “miracle box”. The miracles that I want to see come to past are:

1) Get below 15 for my O level’s L1R5 in year 2010

2) <Can’t be revealed for now>

3) A breakthrough in my f/s with Misha by the end of 2009

4) A breakthrough in my WWG and to receive a vision/word/picture/dream from Him by the end of 2009

Yup(: Through this, i’m really looking forward to how God is going to answer my prayers. Another thing which i’ve learnt from the mini service is that God is never too early nor too late, He is always just right. His timing is always the PERFECT TIMING. Sometimes we may wonder why the reason our prayers are not answered. However, have we ever wondered about God? It may not yet be the time yet and so we have to be patient. God knows us the best, He knows when it will be the best for us for our prayer to be answered. We have to trust in Him and wait on Him. The wait is impt. Human beings usually get impatient in their times of waiting and start to question and doubt God. What we need to do is to take time out with God and reflect, and once again be reminded about His BEST PLAN for us.

A confession to make. I havent’t been reading my bible for about a week and i’m really not nourished in terms of my spiritual needs other than me praying. I procrastinate, i lost knowing that reading God’s word daily is essential and important to maintain and grow this relationship. As i started to pray to God just now during my QT, God started to speak to me, assuring me that He will forgive me and wants me to repent. How i know? He spoke to me through the bible as i once again start reading it. Only 1 chapter and He revealed/spoke to me more than 3 things. Really happy to find back the meaning of reading the bible and i really hope and pray that i will always be excited and looking forward to reading God’s love letter to me everyday. 😀

HAPPY!

Did a lot of things today! Morning woke up early and went for cca. We did gardening for about 1 hour and we were released! Super waste my time lo. Took 45min to travel to and fro from sch just to do the 1 hour of gardening. After which took a bathe and went grand cathay meet Xiwen 😀 So sad wendy, jocelyn and nicole couldn’t make it. Haha, it seems like going out on a date with xw. First time go out with her and somemore it’s a movie session! HAHA, so romantic right? xD Just joking. Anyways, we watched sisters keeper whichnis very touching and has a nice story line. 😀 I cried once at the ending and after the movie, i realised that xw already started to cry at the starting of the movie. Haha. After the movie, xw went home and i went out with Grace aunt and Michelle aunt. Shopped at bishan. I’m so angry with michelle for not wanting to buy a watch for me…keep saying i won’t wear. Lol, thank God the cold war lasted less than 30min. Haha, sometimes i do find myself a little unreasonable and impatient and rash. Gotta change change change! 😀 I wanna be a better person for God and you. 😀 Anyways, Grace left early and michelle and i went manhatten fish market for early dinner. As i need to lend a mac from regina aunt, went to her shop after dinner. Haha, so cool. So cool, when we were at her shop, she told us she wanna watch movie with her kids. I’ve wanted to watch coraline/astro boy so i ask her if i can go along. Of course the answer is yes and we cabbed to pick sherwin, wynne and her maid after she close up and went balestier complex to catch astro boy at 7:15. Due to the craftiness of regina aunt(hmm…dunno if i’ve used the right word), we only buy 2 tickets for 6 people! Amazing right! I shall not elaborate on the details unless if you really wanna know then ask me. Haha.

 

I shall stop posting already. It’s eating up my time to do my ss assignmen which is dued in 1hours time and i have not even started on it. Bye~ 😀

Refreshed.

Today was G-R-E-A-T!

Travelled down to katong at 12plus and met bern, mish and sherm. Haha, since we still have to wait for a lot of ppl, bern and mish went to eat first and i accompanied sherm to do her eyebrow threading. Her eyebrow threading was an eye opener man! Haha, cause i didn’t see before and was quite curious. After that, went to cornerstone and waited for the rest. Practiced worship with misha and stuffs and cg started! Started with chairing and bern’s and xy’s idea was super cool!! They hid 8 or 9 pieces of paper around cornerstone and ask us find. After found, it wrote “Wel-come-to-East-Beeeee-One-Care-Group”. Cool right? Haha, go bern and sheep! You guys rocks with all your silly ideas!! Then after chairing was games. Sherm and xy led well man! Atmosphere was super high when everyone was like screaming like nobodys business and the people outside even came in to ask us to quieten down. Haha. Thank God for the both of you man! Praise and worship was after that followed by holy comm, testi and sermon d!

I bet today’s cg was very fruitful, fun, spiritual and family. Even though it wasn’t perfect, i believe that each and everyone of us led well and enjoyed ourselves. Attendance was good too! Haha, 14 people came! 😀

After cg, we went katong sc the foodcourt eat. Haha, had a great time of fellowshipping and laughing! Suggested to go play lan after our dinner and we played L4D! One word to describe, “SHIOK”! Haha, i guess i’m really into lan gaming especially those which requires killing and shooting. The rest went to cchms for drama night.

After lan, actually we decided to go home but bern, sherm, mish and yinghui were in cchms watching the drama night so we changed our plan and decided to go cchms find them. Haha, super funny, when we were walking to sch, i imagined that we were playing L4D cause there is 4 our us there (me, sharon, xy and xinyun) and i imagined that zombies would jump out all of a sudden any time! HAHA! Then all of us were like “careful! shoooooot!” and we were pretending that we were holding on to a gun and preparing to shoot. Haha. When we were half way reaching cchms, the rest of them were walking out and sherm and yinghui decided to go home first. Misha initially didn’t want to walk back cause she’s tired and it’s freakish (like duh! cchms is haunted! haha, just kidding) but after my persuasion, we went into the sch and started on our “night walk”. Haha! Xinyun, xy and sharon were first timers to our sch then i acted like their tour guide introducing to them the sch…”this is the new block, innosphere, concourse, dnt block…..”. Haha! After buying drinks, we went to sit near the lake and fellowshipped! 😀 So cool canns! It feels just like during camp where we will sit around at night and fellowship just that during camp there will be other cgs around too. Haha, then i showed them the unglam videos of jade, misha and me at teoheng last sunday. It was really fun!

I shall learn to view things in a different light. (:

It really makes a whole lot of difference when u view things differently. It applies to almost anything u can think of. Nowadays, whenever i viewed things differently and it changed circumstances to the better, God would knock on my heart and remind me to keep doing so. I see more joy in me after i see things in a different perspective. It helped me to see the potential in my people and also helped to increase my trust in people.

Holiday objectives

Holiday has started and I’m so into making it a fruitful one. I don’t want it to end just like that and when people ask me how’s my holiday, i’ve nothing special to share with them. So i’ve planned my holiday and have come out with some holiday objectives.

My holiday objectives:

-Spend more personal time with God

-Finish a christian book

-Learn how to swim

-Complete all my holiday homework before camp

-Go into another level in my r/s with God

-Find a best friend in church

-Help my sheeps build their foundation strong in God

-Try ice skating

-Attend cca regularly (even though i’m lazy to go back to school since it’s holiday now)

-Go meng’s house to cook

-Go M’sia with EB1

-Catch a horror movie in the cinema

-Go out with jp

-Dinner at jp’s house

-Play L4D with meng

-Eat dinner/go out with my family

-Go ny’s house

-Grow in my love for ** even though it’s really difficult and it really requires me to humble myself

-Don’t be so easily affected by set backs in my r/s with people

I know that it’s A LOT of things to do in this short 2 months holiday so i really need God to help me fulfil all of them and also not forgetting being disciplined myself.

Some may not be fulfilled during this holiday because it may not be time yet, for example finding a best friend in church, because if God’s plan is to let me find him/her in a later timing, then i’ll have to wait, but i hope that most will be completed during this holiday.

 

 

I love you brother! Thanks for giving me such a nice birthday present and even though it’s belated, i still love it a lot! Haha, you asked me what type of chocolates i like and i told you that i’m fine with anything but in fact i don’t like some types of chocolates. However, the chocolates you bought for me are those which i’ve been craving for! Haha, maybe it’s because we share the same type of blood in us that you can read my mind. Thanks for your card too! It’s super sweet! The 3 photos which you’ve printed for me are also very nice, they brought back a lot of memories that we’ve shared! Thank you once again and I LOVE YOU! You’re the best brother that i ever had!
